VOG Tunisia 2026 Fleet at Port Yasmine Hammamet
More than just a voyage—it’s a human adventure! On July 13, 2026, an extraordinary fleet will set sail for Tunisia. This event will bring together 20 sailboats and nearly 150 crew members for a crossing of the Mediterranean marked by camaraderie and safety. The “Jasmine Route” spirit: This edition is a vibrant tribute to the famous “Jasmine Route,” created in 1990 by Joseph Minniti. Under the impetus of Souhaiel Malouche, a Franco-Tunisian member of the VOG club, we wish to offer this sailing experience which creates a unique link between the two shores of the Mediterranean. The VOG Tunisia Fleet is a sailing rally whose goal is to promote shared, fun, and friendly recreational sailing. As a result, it contains no “competitive” elements—that is, no starting or finishing lines, no rankings based on athletic performance criteria, and no use of the Racing Rules of Sailing, Special Offshore Regulations, or any other federal or class rules.

The Carthago Dilecta Est, founded in 1999, is now in its 27th edition. Over the years, Carthago Dilecta Est has established itself as an event that is both athletic and cultural, making sailing a true vehicle for bringing people together and fostering dialogue between the two shores of the Mediterranean. The events grouped under the name “Carthago Dilecta Est – Tunisia Sailing Week – Liberi di Navigare 2026, ” are organized on the principle of solo sailing, non-stop and without outside assistance, by the Circolo Velico Ventotene and the Yasmine Hammamet Marina, under the auspices of the Italian Sailing Federation (FIV),the UVAI (Italian Offshore Sailing Union), and the Tunisian Sailing Federation. www.carthagodilectaest.com
